Many South Africans as we speak will keep in mind Tutu’s private braveness, and the readability of his ethical fury. However as those that knew him greatest have so usually reminded us, Tutu was all the time, emphatically, the voice of hope. And it’s that hope, that optimism, accompanied, so usually, by his trademark giggles and cackles, that appears prone to form the best way the world remembers, and celebrates, Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
